Joining the Photoshop - April 2009 Update
Automated SPAM registrations have become beyond a joke resulting in the Register function being turned off! If you really want to join us, and you are a REAL person, send an email to ponyATnavyphots.com - if you are a real person you will know that you replace AT with the @ symbol. Place "Pony let me in" in the Subject line.
I will register you and send confirmation email. Existing members are not affected.
Real names are required as Usernames when registering for the Photshop - john smith, John Smith, johnsmith, are acceptable. Nicknames will not permitted as we do not know who you are, or were.

Phot Branch Name Change
The World as we knew it has changed forever - no more RAN Photographer Rate from 01 October 2009. From that date Phots will be designated as IS (Image Specialist)! No doubt this change has been in progress for quite some time and does reflect the changes that have occurred in the Phot world. In the Forensic Photography context, in which I am most familiar, there has not been a stand-alone forensic photographer in most states since the middle 1990's. The US Navy made a similar change in 2008 with Photographers Mates now designated MSC's (Mass Communication Specialists).
